Job summary

Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) in Brantford and Paris, Ontario is seeking a qualified nurse to join the Operating Room, PACU and Day Surgery team. The successful applicant will provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room and collaborate with the inter-professional team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, current CNO registration, BCLS certification, and at least one year of OR experience.

• Graduate of an accredited college nursing program.
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Completion of post-grad Operating Room course required.
• Minimum of one year current Operating Room experience required.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Operating Room, PACU and Day Surgery, the successful applicant will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care in the operating room and must meet the following criteria:

Mandatory Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college nursing program
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Completion of post-grad Operating Room course required
• Minimum of one (1) year current Operating Room experience required.
