Registered Practical Nurse, Mount Hope - St. Mary's - 1 position

Location: Mount Hope - St. Mary's, Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care - London, ON

Type: Part Time

Salary Range: $38.80 - $39.19 per hour

The hours of work reflect current scheduling arrangements and are subject to change as determined by the Employer.

Essential Qualifications

• Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum of two years recent experience in caring for the elderly and/or younger physically challenged adults
• Valid CPR certificate
• Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
• Proficiency and experience in pharmacology and medication administration
• Recent experience with catheter injections, irrigations, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, and G-tube care maintenance
• Understanding of and recent experience in the use of asepsis
• Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• A police record check completed within the last six months from a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC), including vulnerable sector screening, is required of the successful candidate

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in French is an asset
