Job summary

The successful candidate will hold current nursing registration, BCLS, and have experience in acute care with strong communication and teaching skills.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses.
• Recent and related clinical experience in a fast paced acute care environment preferred.
• Medication certificate and IV initiation skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessment and care planning in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning to support continuity of care.
• Maintain documentation standards in an acute/urgent environment.
