We are a 24-bed unit with a mix of General Internal Medicine and Cardiology patients primarily requiring medical management for their acute illness that include congested heart failure, pneumonia, COPD, cancer and related complications, gastro-intestinal and other disorders. Our nurses work within an inter‑professional team structure and maintain optimal nurse-to-patient ratios across shifts.
