Oak Valley Health in Markham, Ontario is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for the Childbirth and Children’s Centre to provide maternal-child care in antepartum and postpartum units.

You will be part of a collaborative health-care team, delivering patient- and family-centered care, with focus on safe decision making and evidence-based practice. The role involves 12-hour shifts, days and nights, and opportunities for professional development.

Competenze

  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses.
  • Minimum one year experience in maternal child required.
  • Current neonatal resuscitation (NRP) required.
  • Completion of Perinatal/Obstetrics course preferred.
  • Current Fetal Health Surveillance certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Breastfeeding course required (or within 3 months of employment).
  • Medication Administration certification required.
  • RPNAO membership preferred.
  • Excellent physical assessment skills and ability to work interprofessionally.
