Job summary

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care in Scarborough (Toronto area) is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse for a temporary part-time role (~6 months) with mixed shifts. You will supervise unit staff and coordinate resident care with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care in alignment with CNO standards.

The role emphasizes patient-family communication, leadership, and responsiveness to medical and care needs.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience in nursing is an asset.
• Good leadership, problem solving and judgement skills.
• CPR certificate is required.
• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Ability to converse in Chinese is an asset.

Responsibilities
