Job summary

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for night shifts at the Scarborough Finch campus. The role includes supervising unit staff, coordinating resident care with the interdisciplinary team, and communicating with families to ensure high-quality, resident-centred care.

Candidates must hold a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, CPR certification, and pass a Vulnerable Sector Screen.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Experience in nursing and staff supervision is an asset.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Good leadership, problem solving and judgement skills.
• Superb customer service and computer literacy.
• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen.
• Ability to converse in Chinese an asset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise unit staff and coordinate resident care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate with residents' families and coordinate with the care team.
• Ensure care aligns with standards and policies of Yee Hong.

Through this comprehensive network, the organization serves more than 15,000 individuals annually across the Greater Toronto Area. **Registered Nurse (Permanent Night Shift)** Performs the functions of Registered Nurse in compliance with the standards of practice for Registered Nurse developed by the College of Nurses (CNO) and provides high quality nursing service that reflects the organization's resident centred approach, vision and policies.
