Job summary

ParaMed Haliburton is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide community-based visits across the Haliburton area, supported by RNs for more complex cases. You will deliver ethical, safe nursing care, assess patient needs, and maintain records within your scope of practice.

The role offers autonomy, work-life balance with flexible scheduling, and pathways for professional growth through orientation and ongoing development programs.

Qualifications

• Registration with the CNO as a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
• Willingness to travel to patient residences within a designated area.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations.
• On-call coverage including after hours.

Responsibilities

• Participate in scheduled visits in the community to look after patient needs within your scope of practice.
