We are hiring for a Regulated Pharmacy Technician at our Westbank location in Kelowna, BC.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners.
• Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies.
• Ensuring that a prescription is complete and authentic.
• Ensuring the accuracy and performing the final check of a prepared prescription.
• Performing all the technical functions of dispensing prescriptions.
• Supporting and maintaining dispensary and front store (OTC) operations.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Supervising Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in dispensary activities.
• Performing other duties as directed by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Experience in pharmacy dispensary or Kroll computer systems is an asset.

Compensation:

$24.50 - $31.50 per hour, based on location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
