Job summary

London Drugs in Edmonton is seeking a Regulated Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations, customer service, prescriptions processing and inventory management.

You will work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy with semi-private counselling spaces and a focus on patient care, teamwork and accuracy. Registration with the provincial college is required and regulatory programs must be completed.

Qualifications

• Must have completed national and provincial Regulated Pharmacy Technician programs.
• Must be registered with the College of Pharmacists in the province of employment.
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations.
• Provide customer service and handle telephone inquiries.
• Operate the pharmacy computer and process prescriptions.
• Assist in ordering and receiving drug orders and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area.
