In this permanent career, you’ll work 8-hour shifts between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday—no nights, and "phone only" on call on weekends in case of emergency questions from resident homes.

Responsibilities
  1. Medication Preparation & Dispensing – Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to accurately and efficiently dispense medications while ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  2. Customer & Resident Support – Provide high-quality service to group homes and retirement communities, addressing their needs and ensuring exceptional pharmacy care.
  3. Compliance & Documentation – Maintain accurate and organized health records, adhere to corporate policies and industry regulations, and uphold pharmacy best practices.
  4. Team Coordination & Training – Support team operations by consulting management on unresolved issues, assisting with inventory management, and participating in training for new and existing staff.
  5. Ongoing Learning & Workplace Standards – Engage in continuing education, contribute to maintaining a clean and safe pharmacy environment, and take part in after-hours on-call duties as required.
Qualifications
  1. RPh licensed in ON with existing Long Term Care experience
  2. There is potential for candidates with supervisor/leadership experience to be considered for more elevated roles
  3. Strong written, verbal and computer skills are required
  4. Positive outlook with a strong work ethic required
  5. Deadline-oriented and strong prioritization skills are a must
  6. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated worker who is comfortable in dedicating themselves to a task through to its completion
  7. Ability to work 8-hour shifts between the hours of 9am to 5pm
