About the Role:

As a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist specializing in maternal care, you will play a vital role in supporting women through the physical changes and challenges associated with pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments and personalized treatment plans for clients with pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, incontinence, pelvic pain, and related conditions.
  • Offer prenatal and postpartum education on pelvic floor health, exercise, and body mechanics.
  • Guide clients through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and lifestyle modifications to promote healing and function.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers within our multidisciplinary team for holistic care.
  • Stay updated on current research and best practices in pelvic health physiotherapy.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Post-graduate training and certification in pelvic health physiotherapy
  • Passion for working with pregnant and postpartum women
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to client-centered care
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with prenatal/postpartum yoga or fitness instruction
  • Interest in workshops or group education sessions
