Job description
Beal University Canada invites applications from qualified individuals for a Nursing Faculty position at the Sackville NB campus. The position involves both in person and online classroom, clinical and laboratory teaching responsibilities in the undergraduate program. We are interested in individuals who have a proven track record in teaching (classroom and clinical) with a background in one or more fields (gerontology, medical surgery, maternal health/pediatrics, mental health or primary health care/community health nursing). The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is an accelerated 30 month undergraduate program offered in Sackville.
Position Description:
The full‐time faculty’s responsibilities include following approved syllabi, understanding students’ needs, developing engaging lesson plans, and ensuring the relevant learning resources are available. The faculty will consistently evaluate student performance and address issues promptly; prepare assessments that enrich and challenge students.
Job Duties:
Qualifications: Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Master’s or PhD in Nursing is a plus. Teaching and clinical expertise is required. Applicants must be registered or eligible to obtain registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB) without limits or conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for in person classroom and/or clinical teachings and coordination of clinical lab/courses.
The position is expected to commence in May.
