A healthcare provider in Ontario is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in the Hemodialysis program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with a team and delivering high-quality nursing care. Candidates must have a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and experience in medical/surgical nursing. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a regulated health care professional who adheres to and role models the Standards and Guidelines of the College of Nurses of Ontario; the SJHH mission, vision and values, policies and procedures; and applicable specialty standards. The RN provides patient/client-centred and evidence-informed care to promote health and assess the need for the provision of care and the treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitation means in order to attain or maintain optimal patient/client function. The RN collaborates with the inter-professional team and assumes a leadership role in delivering a full range of care and treatment to patients/clients including those with complex needs, high acuity and less predictable outcomes.
For the King Campus/Charlton Support position: The successful applicant will provide support and coverage within the hemodialysis program.
Full Time Support positions will be utilized to cover maternity leaves, medical leaves and other long term leaves. The incumbent may be assigned to cover longer term or shorter term/episodic needs in the Hemodialysis program. For the purposes of vacation scheduling and time off requests, the home unit will be King.
