In this role you'll provide essential antenatal care to both low and high-risk obstetrical patients, develop unique skills in obstetrical ultrasounds, and assist in complex fetal procedures and surgeries.

Your ability to think critically and apply theory to practice is exceptional, and you are enthusiastic about developing unique skills like sonography and assisting with fetal procedures and surgeries.
Professional development is important to you; we offer numerous opportunities for growth throughout our clinic orientation program and regular education sessions, such as unit-specific rounds, program rounds, hospital rounds, workshops, conferences, and more. Mount Sinai has invested heavily in resources to support nurses to be successful along the continuum from novice to expert.
About our unit
This specialized clinic-style unit is a part of Mount Sinai Hospital with two convenient sites at 700 and 600 University Avenue that run Monday to Friday. The program is a comprehensive service, dedicated to enhancing the well-being of both the mother and the fetus. We offer a range of services, including fetal ultrasound, assessment, early detection, in-utero therapy, and treatment. Collaborating with SickKids, our program delivers expert care in addressing fetal anomalies and in-utero surgical procedures.
Our primary focus is on the early identification of various conditions, such as preterm birth, fetal anomalies, placental health issues, and infectious diseases. Through timely surgical consultations and interventions, we aim to improve the long-term health outcomes for neonates.
