Interior Health Authority in Kamloops, BC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the General Surgical department at Royal Inland Hospital. The role involves clinical assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care, working with an interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care.

Shifts rotate days and nights; this is a relief part-time position (0.72) until January 24, 2028, or the return of the incumbent.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 hours.

Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is in the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap health service area and is one of two Interior Health tertiary referral hospitals.

Located in Kamloops, RIH offers high-level, specialty medical care including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services. Specialty services include ambulatory psychiatry, elderly mental health, clinical nutrition, and lung health.

The 6S Unit at the Royal Inland Hospital is a very busy vascular, general surgery and Urology unit.
