Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Turning Points Northwest facility.

Under clinical supervision of the Team Lead/designate, provides ongoing intensive outreach nursing care, case management and mental health and substance use support services for assigned clients, whether they are in hospital, residential or other community settings. Designs, implements, and monitors individual treatment plans to maximize community functioning and reduce re-hospitalization. Works in close association with inter-professional community mental health and substance use staff, emergency services, Indigenous partners, and community service providers.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Days, 08:30 to 17:00

Smithers Smithers is located in the picturesque Bulkley Valley surrounded by three mountain ranges which provide a backdrop for the town’s Alpine setting. The main industries include forestry, tourism, transportation and agriculture. Smithers offers affordable housing and natural splendor that support a balanced lifestyle. The population of Smithers is approximately 6,000, with an additional 5,000 from the surrounding communities that access services. There are three elementary schools, one secondary school, one alternate format school for grades 9-12 and Coast Mountain College.
