Northern Health - BC is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join the team at the University Hospital of Northern BC in Prince George. The staff nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care within a quality framework aligned with the hospital's mission.

Shift rotations include evenings and nights with on-call portions; you will work in a large acute care teaching environment supporting nursing education and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure.
• Experience providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Provide nursing care to a variety of patients with a focus on safety and quality.
• Support perioperative services and participate in global quality improvement.

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern Bc.

Reporting to the Manager, Perioperative Services, the staff nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the University Hospital of Northern BC mission statement. The role is defined by the needs of the Hospital, a select patient/family population, agency expectations and the goals for professional nursing practice.

Evenings, Nights, 15:00 to 23:18, 23:00 to 07:18 (rotating)

On Call Portion

There is an on call portion to this rotation
