Interior Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Medical team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. The RN will participate in client assessment, planning and delivery of care within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring client-centered care, and adapting to evolving health care needs while supporting families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

About the Job

• Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
• Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
• Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities

This is a Relief Full Time opportunity until March 6 2028, or the return of the incumbent.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

About this Location

Located in Cranbrook, between Kimberley and Fernie, EKRH is a 75 bed regional referral centre for patients and smaller community hospitals throughout the designated health service area. EKRH offers physician specialties, 24-hour emergency and trauma services, acute medical and surgical and obstetrical care as well as Lab services.
