Position Summary
Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Ksyen Regional Hospital.
Reporting to the Unit Manager, this Maternity-focused position involves identifying, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet patients' physical, social, and psychological needs. Patient care may include antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, neonatal care (Nursery), and Medical Surgical or Pediatric patients. Care is guided by current BCCNM standards and Perinatal Services BC Guidelines.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)
Ksyen Regional Hospital
The new Ksyen Regional Hospital, opened on November 24, 2024, features 82 beds, private rooms, and services including trauma, orthopedics, pathology, radiology, and pharmacy. It is also a training site for medical students in the Northern Medical Program.
Community of Terrace
Terrace offers mountain views, rivers, lakes, and streams. The community has a population of approximately 12,700, with educational institutions including Northwest Community College and a UNBC campus. It’s a vibrant place with outdoor activities and cultural experiences.
