Job summary

Northern Health in British Columbia is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse for the ICU at Ksyen Regional Hospital. The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with an interprofessional team, and uphold professional standards and ethics as outlined by BCCNM.

Shift rotation includes days and nights from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 on a rotating schedule. Candidates must demonstrate a dedication to compassionate patient care and continuous learning.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model.

The Registered Nurse – ICU, working collaboratively with the interprofessional team, plans and provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care to clients with various complex health care issues. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)
