We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to start work as soon as possible.
Shifts include early morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight, with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician’s orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an RN.
  • Utilize sound nursing principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home areas.
  • Ensure a timely and accessible admission process for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
  • Manage resident transfers and discharges safely and promptly.
  • Ensure proper supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, following protocols on all shifts.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Effective, compassionate, and supportive interaction with others.
  • Respect for residents' individuality, privacy, and participation in care decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, including the Long Term Care Act, Health Disciplines Act, and others.
  • Medical clearance (including TB tests).
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
  • Clear criminal record check.
  • Proof of vaccination, adherence to COVID-19 protocols, and mask-wearing at all times.
