Job Description for Registered Nurse (RN) at ScionHealth

Our specialty hospitals provide the same critical care as traditional hospitals or intensive care units, but for an extended recovery period. Our clinicians play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill, and medically complex patients.

As a Registered Nurse / RN, you will:
  1. Provide planning and delivery of both direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
  2. Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
  3. Communicate changes in the patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisors / Managers, and co-workers as appropriate.

Compensation: $43.92 - $64.05 per hour

Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, or an Associate Degree in Nursing, or a Nursing Diploma program, as a Registered Nurse / RN.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse / RN.
  • BCLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of six months of experience as a Registered Nurse / RN with Medical / Surgical experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
