The Registered Nurse working in the outpatient department coordinates and facilitates quality management of a broad-based outpatient population across the continuum of care. Through skilled triage and assessment education collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources the RN assists patients to achieve optimum functional health status and quality of life.
