Job summary

MAHC is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at multi-site locations including Huntsville District Memorial Hospital and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital. The home-site is Bracebridge (SMMH). Applicants must reside within 125km of a campus or be willing to relocate before starting.

Shifts include days, evenings, nights and weekends per the collective agreement. Immunization records, legal work entitlement in Canada, and background checks are required for external hires.

Qualifications

• Current certificate of registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• 2 years experience of acute medical/surgical nursing experience
• 1-2 years of relevant labour and delivery nursing, and post partum nursing experience an asset
• IV Certified
• Current BLS
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Regional Pediatric Orientation Program (PALS)
• RNAO Breastfeeding e-learning (or equivalent)

Location: Multi-site working at both Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH). South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge is the home-site. Applicants must reside within 125km of one of our hospital campuses or be willing to relocate prior to starting. *Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Hours of Work: Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements per the collective agreement.

Conditions of employment for external hires includes;
