Position Information

Temporary position until approximately January 31, 2027.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
  • Certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
  • Six (6) months of recent high risk obstetrical experience;
  • Recent experience in an ambulatory care setting;
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary team;
  • Expert level assessment and practice skills in high risk obstetrics;
  • Knowledge of computers, including MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Access, Excel);
  • Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety initiatives;
  • Advanced patient teaching skills;
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and decision making and leadership skills;
  • Eligible to work in Canada;
  • Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).

Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current perinatology certification and/or university level perinatal courses;
  • BScN;
