Job summary

West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, is seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medicine Nursing Care Unit (NCU) on a part-time basis. You’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting, collaborating with a dedicated team to implement individualized care plans.

You’ll administer medications and treatments safely, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and families about health management.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Hospital or clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring excellent communication with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention.
• Participate in learning opportunities, skill-building sessions, and mentorship programs offered on-site.
