Role Responsibilities

As a registered nurse, you will be a key member of the interprofessional team, responsible for comprehensive care of medical patients on the Medicine Unit, including assessment, care planning, patient education, and discharge planning. You will collaborate on interprofessional care plans, lead clinical initiatives, and develop patient education resources.

Qualifications
  • Current College of Nurses Registration
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Oncology Foundations Course (recommended or willing to complete within 1 year)
  • Level 2 ICU Stepdown certification (recommended or willing to complete within 1 year)
  • Minimum 2 years recent medical experience with emphasis on oncology
  • Proficiency in physical assessment and computer skills
  • Commitment to patient and family-centered care
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Ongoing professional development and leadership experience
Work Schedule and Compensation

12-hour shifts (days and nights), including weekends and holidays. Schedules may change based on operational needs.

Compensation: BAND J, Range: $40.27 - $57.73
