Job summary

Health Association Nova Scotia is recruiting Registered Nurses for opportunities across Nova Scotia, including long-term care and home care roles in the Central Zone.

You'll join an interdisciplinary team, providing compassionate, patient-centered care and working with multidisciplinary teams to support residents at home and in facilities. Current NS RN licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and plan resident care with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and record administrations.
• Home care duties include diabetes management, dialysis, IV medications, palliative care, phlebotomy and wound care.

Long-term Care

• Practice safe, compassionate, competent, and ethical care throughout the continuum of health and wellness of the residents.
• Administer direct nursing care and plan Resident care in consultation from the multidisciplinary care team.
