The Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide leadership by supervising, implementing, and evaluating operations and clinical programs at Pioneer Ridge Home for the Aged. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, your responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing care delivery to ensure residents receive appropriate, timely, and quality care.
  2. Ensuring adherence to Pioneer Ridge’s standards of quality care.
  3. Collaborating with RPNs, the multidisciplinary team, residents, and decision-makers to coordinate personalized care plans.
  4. Implementing collaborative practices with RPNs and providing consultation and care when needed.
  5. Supporting the organization’s strategic plans and ensuring care aligns with its mission, vision, and values.
Ideal Candidate
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Experience in Long Term Care or gerontology.
  • Maintains registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
