Within the scope of this position, the RN takes on a key role to continually provide an environment promoting a culture of resident safety and freedom from harm and injury. **What You Will Do*** Coordinates nursing and other services for the residents within the neighbourhood and with other services within the residence.* Leads shift report with members of the health care team, ensuring that all team members are informed of changes in residents’ status.* Records significant changes in residents’ condition; ensures documentation in the residents’ chart adheres to AgeCare policies and procedures and Provincial College of Nurses and Standards of Practice.* Reviews and processes physician orders as per procedure, ensuring orders are implemented as soon as possible.
