St. Joseph's Health Centre currently invites applications to join our mental health team as a Registered Nurse in the Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit (7M) and Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The RN will be part of an interprofessional care team caring for a highly acute mental health and/or addictions patient population, providing high-quality, patient- and family-centered nursing care within a trauma-informed framework in an acute care setting. This role supports patients in learning to manage their illnesses and supports their recovery journey while offering opportunities for professional growth in a rewarding, challenging environment.
Our 36-bed inpatient unit (including a psychiatric intensive care unit) serves adults 19 years and older, delivering holistic and accessible mental health services to patients and families. Affiliated with the University of Toronto, we strive to provide trauma-informed care and generate innovative partnerships that enhance quality of life.
