A regional health authority in Canada is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to patients in both hospital and community settings. The ideal candidate must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and have recent experience in acute medical/surgical nursing, as well as complete a basic arrhythmia interpretation course. This position focuses on contributing to patient safety and quality care.

Reports to the Manager or designate. Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients/residents in the hospital or in the community in accordance with the unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and the BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.

Education, Training And Experience
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. Recent experience in acute medical/surgical nursing, and completion of a basic arrhythmia interpretation course, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and training.
