Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Ponoka is seeking a Registered Nurse with perioperative training to join the surgical team at Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre. This role supports endoscopy and upcoming cataract services within a rural perioperative setting.

You will provide safe, patient- and family-centered care, utilize nursing processes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote health and recovery in a rural community.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
