Job summary

SE Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Ontario. The role offers full-time daytime hours with every other weekend and on-call responsibilities, plus opportunities for growth and training.

A $1500 sign-on bonus is available and extensive benefits accompany a supportive, mission-driven workplace. We require current RN certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario, immunization and background checks, a CPR certificate, and willingness to travel to Mount Forest, Palmerston,

Qualifications

  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as RN.
  • Availability to work FT days with every other weekend and on call (Evening and Overnight 6 nights/month).
  • Updated immunization records, clear criminal background check, and Vulnerable sector check.
  • Willingness to attain required SE Health certifications.
  • Current CPR certificate is required.
  • Travel to Mount Forest/Palmerston/Drayton/Arthur/Wellington and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive client assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate care based on best evidence/practices and client needs.
  • When designated as primary provider for a client caseload, act as point of care lead in collaboration with care team and support functions.
  • Support clients through care transitions by connecting with community support services.

Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive client assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate care based on best evidence/practices and on client’s unique needs
  • When designated as a primary provider for a client caseload, you will be the point of care lead accountable for their care while working in collaboration with other care team members and the support functions.
  • Support the client through care transitions by collaborating and connecting the client with community support services in their local community.
Requirements
  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as RN.
  • Availability to work FT days with every other weekend and on call component (Evening and Overnight 6 nights/month.)
  • Updated immunization records, clear criminal background check, and Vulnerable sector check are required upon hire.
  • A willingness to attain required SE Health certifications
  • A current CPR certificate is required.
  • This is a physically demanding position and requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling/squatting, reaching chest and waist level (i.e. shoulder flexion), and numerous hand grips of varying forces.
  • Required to travel to Mount Forest/Palmerston/Drayton/Arthur/Wellington and surrounding areas.
