Job summary

Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a temporary RN with 0.55 FTE for Boyne Lodge Personal Care Home, Carman. The role requires active RN/RPN registration, BLS, and a valid Class 5 license. Travel to regional facilities may be required in this in-person term position, with a start date by mutual agreement.

Mandatory SPHP and VPP training, strong communication and ethics, and ability to lead in a collaborative, culturally respectful environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba or College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with vehicle and $1,000,000 liability.
• Mandatory Safe Patient Handling Program (SPHP) and Violence Prevention Program (VPP).

• Safe Patient Handling Program (SPHP) & Violence Prevention Program (VPP) and any other courses that are mandatory for the area being worked in.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba/College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses and the scope of practice as defined by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Acute, Transitional, PCH, Primary Care, Public Health‐Healthy Living, Home Care, Oncology/Cancer Care).
• Requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license, an all-purpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.
