Description:

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making, while also teaching, counseling, and advocating for patients and their families. You will support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance, providing safe, quality, patient and family-centered care aligned with AHS's shared vision and values.

Note: Provisional Permit Holders will be paid $39.58/hour - $54.16/hour. Once registered as a Registered Nurse, pay will be adjusted to the applicable rate according to AHS/UNA Article 25.02(b)(i) or (ii).

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• If not practiced as a RN in the last five years, completion of CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1-4 and NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification is required.
