ParaMed Home Health Care in Nova Scotia is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform community visits across multiple settings, delivering ethical and safe nursing care while helping patients remain comfortable at home. You will assess needs, implement care plans, and document encounters.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with NSCN as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
• Willingness to travel to patient residences within a designated area.
• On-call coverage, including after hours, to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Participate in scheduled visits in the community to look after patient needs within your scope of practice.
• Provide ethical and safe nursing care.

• Execute and monitor care plans and adjust as required.
• Engage patients using a collaborative approach by building rapport and trust.
