Qualifications

• Must be registered with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
• Completion of a recognized General Medical Laboratory Technologist program.
• Minimum 3–5 years of recent hospital histopathology laboratory experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of recent experience in immunochemistry.
• Grossing knowledge.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with laboratory software and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic laboratory tests.
• Report results to appropriate supervisors and physicians.
• Work under the supervision of the Manager of Laboratory Services and Medical Imaging.
• Hours include all shifts, including weekends.
