Job description

Perennial embeds physician- and nurse-practitioner-led primary-care clinics directly inside retirement residences, bringing concierge medical and allied-health services to older adults where they live. Our interdisciplinary team (MDs, NPs, RNs, RMTs, OTs, dietitians) is united by one goal : keeping residents healthy, mobile and out of hospital. Learn more at perennialcare.ca.

About The Role

As a Perennial Registered Massage Therapist you’ll bring hands-on, evidence-based care directly into our partner retirement residences. You’ll start by running one or two on-site clinic days per month in Hamilton and Oakville (4- to 8-hour blocks) and expand your schedule as the program becomes busier. There is also an opportunity to pick-up additional shifts at other locations if desired.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct initial assessments; create individualized treatment plans for pain relief, mobility, and relaxation.
• Deliver Swedish, deep-tissue, myofascial, and other clinically appropriate techniques.
• Educate residents on stretching, posture, and self-management strategies.
• Chart detailed SOAP notes and outcome measures in our EMR.
• Submit electronic claims to insurers and collect any resident co-pays.
• Communicate progress and red flags to Perennial physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied-health colleagues.
• Maintain a portable table, linens, and supplies while following IPAC and CMTO guidelines.

Qualifications

• Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
• Minimum two years’ experience—geriatric, orthopedic, or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong manual-therapy skills and compassionate bedside manner.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation for travel between sites.
• Asset : training in seniors’ massage, lymphatic drainage, or scar-tissue management.
