Job description
About us:

At Tall Tree, you’ll join an award-winning clinic focused on exceptional integrated healthcare. We’re a diverse team that is endlessly nerdy— we love learning, teaching, and keeping up to date with the latest research. We’re the most multidisciplinary and comprehensive team in private healthcare in BC; we put each client at the center of this with our goal to match everyone with the right clinician or team of clinicians. We take pride in our passionate clinicians, inspiring and uplifting facilities, high-quality health services, and exceptional customer service. We’re committed to delivering healthcare in the best possible way— and we have a singular culture of respect, warmth, curiosity and enthusiasm that makes being a part of the Tall Tree team something to be truly proud of.

As an employer, we aim to be the top choice in healthcare in BC. We want to be theonly place you'd want to work. Our workplaces are amazing, both physically andsocially, and we offer all the usual perks. But we also invest hundreds of thousands of dollars ineducation for our team every year. We believe that when our team members arehappy and engaged, they're better equipped to deliver exceptional patient care.

About the role:

This is a part time OR full time, permanent contractor position.

Come join our team that is obsessively nerdy about best practice, learning and having some fun while doing it. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you'll join a team that learns from and mentors each other, and provides high quality interdisciplinary care as part of one of the most multidisciplinary teams in British Columbia. One of our key values is constant ongoing improvement - and from Lunch & Learns, Papers & Pints nights, the annual Tall Tree Summit, and small team mentorship - there are plenty of opportunities to grow!

What makes this role special is our commitment to your growth and development. You'll have access to regular mentorship, funded continuing education, and a supportive community of healthcare practitioners who share your passion for evidence-based care. Whether you're helping a patient recover from an injury, manage chronic pain, or optimize movement and function, you'll have the resources and team support to provide exceptional care.

If you're looking to practice massage therapy the way it should be done—with the time to build meaningful client relationships, a focus on evidence-based treatment, and the support of a multidisciplinary team—this is your opportunity.

As an RMT at Tall Tree, you will:
  • Provide client-centered therapy. Assess and treat individuals using evidence-based manual therapy techniques tailored to their needs, including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and other approaches within your scope.
  • Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. You'll coordinate care with Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Occupational Therapists, Chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals when an integrated approach is beneficial for client outcomes.
  • Engage with external stakeholders. You'll communicate with third-party insurance providers, employers, and other relevant professionals while maintaining clear, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Commit to continuous growth. You’ll stay up to date with the latest research, treatment techniques, and best practices to ensure clients receive the highest standard of care.
We’re looking for:
  • Someone qualified to practice massage therapy in British Columbia. You are a member of the College of Complimentary Health Professionals of BC. Ideally, you have 2+ years experience in private practice.
  • Clinical Excellence: You have a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and a commitment to mastering skills. You hold a profound respect for the complexity of human experience.
  • A commitment to growth: You have a deep passion for learning and continuous growth and development. You bring an openness to exploring new ideas and approaches to service delivery.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills: You have a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team. You communicate clearly and effectively, whether you're speaking, listening, or writing. You use precise language, compelling reassurance, healing narratives, and consistent messages.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching: You love sharing knowledge and can help mentor colleagues.
  • Humility and curiosity: You have an eagerness to learn and collaborate.
