Job summary

CBI Health Centre - Island-PEI in Charlottetown, PE invites a Registered Massage Therapist to join our well-supported rehabilitation team. You will provide massage therapy to clients referred for treatment, maintain records, and contribute to client-centered care and clinical outcomes.

Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of PEI and graduation from an accredited Massage Therapy program are required.

Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of PEI.
• Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy diploma program.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow assessments and treat clients referred for massage therapy.
• Contribute to a rehabilitation team providing massage therapy as part of overall care.

Anticipated annual earnings range from $40,000 - $80,000 dependent on amount of hours/days per week worked.

While you may bring an existing caseload, this position also offers the chance to sharpen your caseload-building skills.

• Follow assessments and treat clients who are referred directly for massage therapy
• Contribute to a team that provides massage therapy to clients as part of their overall rehabilitation
• Communicates goals and expectations of the treatment to the clients and the rest of the treatment team
• Maintains records of massage therapy assessments and treatment notes

What you need to be successful:

• Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of PEI
• Graduated from an accredited Massage Therapy diploma program
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to facilitate our clients' needs by exceeding their expectations
• Relevant experience in a rehabilitation services environment is a definite asset
• New graduates from an accredited massage therapy program are welcome to apply
