Job Description

The Registered Dietitian reports to the Clinical Services Manager and collaborates with the Professional Leader. Your responsibilities include:

1. Providing nutrition intervention and education to clients with diabetes at the Centre for Complex Diabetes Care.
2. Participating in various projects as required.

Qualifications

• Academic credentials from an accredited Canadian university in food and nutrition or equivalent.
• Practical training from an accredited program in Canada or equivalent.
• Registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
• Ethical and competent practice record.
• Certified Diabetes Educator designation preferred or eligibility to write the exam.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in diabetes education is an asset.
• Willingness to travel to community sites.

Additional Information

Duration: Approximately 12 months or until the previous incumbent returns.

Hours: Days, 8 hours including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change).

Salary: $40.94 - $52.45 per hour.
