Position: Registered Dietitian

Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) provides Canadians with high-quality care across various clinic and home-based community settings.

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to serve the community and join our team in the St. Thomas and Elgin County area.

The successful Registered Dietitian will:

  • Assess clients’ nutritional needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Have experience evaluating and assessing swallowing disorders.
  • Visit clients in their own environments and build relationships.
  • Use a systematic approach to decision-making during the development, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition care plans.
  • Manage time and workload effectively, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Be adaptable to flexible schedules and environments.
  • Know when to seek supervision.

The role will require:

  • A degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences or a related Dietitian program.
  • Active registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
  • Experience working with the elderly.
  • Experience with tube feeding and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN).
  • Prior experience conducting swallowing assessments.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
