Qualifications

About The Good Life Dietitian

The Good Life Dietitian is a virtual, Canadian-based hormone health clinic offering compassionate, personalized care for individuals navigating complex hormone and digestive concerns. We support women, families and gender-diverse clients navigating Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, endometriosis, fertility challenges, menopause, digestive disorders, disordered eating recovery and more. We are rooted in values of equity, diversity, inclusion, and client-centered care.

Location : Virtual, must be based in Ontario (ideally in the Greater Toronto Area)

Who You Are

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian who thrives in a collaborative, virtual care environment and is committed to providing inclusive, evidence-informed nutrition care. You have strong clinical and counselling skills, are resourceful, organized and an excellent communicator. You are able to manage your caseload independently while upholding our clinic values.

Areas of Focus

While we welcome diverse experiences, our ideal candidate has a clinical interest or experience in one or more of the following :

  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
  • Fertility, prenatal and postpartum care
  • Disordered eating recovery

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive client nutrition assessments and follow-ups
  • Provide personalized, client-centered nutrition counselling and coaching as part of our structured programs
  • Provide personalized nutrition support that aligns with client goals and lived experiences
  • Participate in case rounds and team discussions
  • Support occasional marketing initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian in good standing with a College of Dietitians of Ontario regulatory body
  • Minimum of 2 years’ clinical or counselling experience in chronic disease management, including cardiometabolic diseases, endocrine disorders, digestive disorders, or disordered eating recovery
  • Strong understanding of weight-inclusive, trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
  • Comfortable working independently in a virtual setting
  • Additional certification preferred (such as Intuitive Eating Counsellor, Monash Low FODMAP, Motivational Interviewing)
