Job summary

Brampton Dental Arts in Brampton, ON is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist on a part-time basis. The role involves educating patients on preventative dental care and creating tailored home care plans while partnering with a forward-thinking team.

Ideal candidates are CDHO-registered (or in process), with IPAC/WHMIS as assets. 20–30 hours weekly with flexible days, parking and transit access provided in a modern clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Registered dental hygienist with CDHO in good standing or in process of registration.
• IPAC and WHMIS certification is an asset but not required.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

The ideal Registered Dental Hygienist for our team will be highly motivated to educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, as well as empower them in their commitment to good oral health by developing treatment plans and home care routines tailored towards the patients’ needs.

SCHEDULE:

• 20-30 hours per week - 3 to 4 days for now - PT moving FT
• Monday 8:30am-5:30pm
• Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm
• Friday 8:00am-1:00pm

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Currently registered or in process of registering with the:
  • College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
• IPAC certified and WHMIS certified is an asset but not required
• 1-2years of experience is preferred, however, new graduates are welcome to apply!
• Experience with dental practice management software such as AbelDentis considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
