Job summary

City Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry in Canada is seeking a full-time Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant to join our multi-location practice. The role requires caring, organized team player able to connect with children and parents, with strong English communication and CPR certification.

Responsibilities include assisting in pediatric dentistry, sterilization and infection control, with cross-training between pediatric and orthodontic procedures across four locations.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved Dental Assistant program and RDA certification.
• High School diploma is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• English proficiency; able to work with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Pediatric dentistry assistant duties (may include working in surgical centre environments).

We are looking for a Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant to join our office (on average 32-40 hrs/week). The successful applicant must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, caring and a compassionate individual to connect with team members, parents and patients. It is also important that this person possesses a positive attitude with professional commitment and is friendly and out-going in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

(The applicant must meet the following requirements)

• High School diploma
• Completion of an approved Dental Assistant program and certification as a Dental Assistant (RDA)
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Must be computer proficient and able to learn new software easily (softwares used in our office are Curve Hero and Ortho2 Edge)
• Excellent communication skills
• Available to work during applicable business hours
• Ability to work well with children of all ages
• Willingness to be cross-trained between pediatric and orthodontic procedures
• Willing to travel to multiple offices in the city

Responsibilities and Duties:
