We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and with a team.

Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary instruments and materials.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
• Maintain patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory to meet health and safety standards.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient operations, including managing inventory of dental supplies.
• Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Epic for patient management and record keeping.

Clinic Schedule for this position:

• Tuesday: 8am - 4pm
• Thursday: 11am - 7pm
• Friday and Saturday shifts will rotate.
• 30 minute scheduled breaks for all employees!

We have a spacious staff area with a fridge and microwave for your break.
