Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Annapolis Valley, CBI Health New Minas is the largest multidisciplinary clinic in Nova Scotia and specializes in occupational rehabilitation. Our new facility includes a large, well-equipped, spacious gym with natural lighting, multiple private treatment rooms and a large conference room. We are located in the new Valley Crossroads Professional Center, home to multiple physicians, a pharmacy, optometry clinic, and Cumin restaurant. Our interdisciplinary team is comprised of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Kinesiologists and a Pedorthotist. We collaborate with physicians regularly to provide optimum client centered care and evidence based practice to our diverse caseload of acute and complex care clients. We would ideally like to attract a full time RCT, however we would also consider a part-time employee or independent contractor arrangement.
As a Registered Counselling Therapist within CBI Health’s Rehabilitation Outpatient team, you will be responsible for the provision of clinical services for patients referred for counselling services. This will include consultation, evaluation, assessment, interventions, monitoring of progress/outcomes and discharge with individuals and/or groups. The caseload consists of patients who are either self-referred, referred by a physician, or referred by a third-party payer or a public agency.
