The Salvation Army is hiring a registered nurse to provide holistic nursing care for residents at Sunset Lodge in Victoria, BC. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using CRNBC standards, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and families. Responsibilities include medication administration, care planning and documentation.
You will participate in care conferences, adhere to facility policies, and support residents and staff in a professional, compassionate manner.

RN is responsible for promoting holistic health through nursing care to residents with gerontological, chronic, palliative, and complex care needs. Is responsible for assisting in and administering direct resident care utilizing the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementing and ongoing evaluation of professional nursing care. Expectations of nursing care are based on the CRNBC Standards for nursing practice, Salvation Army Mission and Philosophy Statements and Sunset Lodge Policies and Procedures.
Baccalaureate degree in nursing or graduation from a recognized nursing program and up to one year of recent related experience or combination of education training or experience. Current full practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC).
The target hiring range for this position is $41.42 to $48.67 with a maximum of $55.91. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
